Role Purpose Statement Manage the end-to-end imported raw material supply chain and unloading operations, including logistics coordination, system management, weight reconciliation, shrinkage analysis, and financial settlements, to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations while driving continuous improvement through data analysis and process optimization.
Main Accountabilities 1. Customs Compliance and GMO Monitoring: Monitor customs duty payment deadlines and GMO certificate validity periods, maintain GMO traceability systems in compliance with MOA regulations, and ensure all import-related compliance requirements are met.
2. Port and Unloading Coordination: Liaise with port authorities regarding vessel schedules and collaborate with the Raw Materials team to ensure the smooth, orderly, and efficient execution of unloading operations.
3. Quarantine Inspection Management: Track vessel quarantine inspections with Customs authorities, coordinate inspection activities, and ensure timely vessel clearance and unloading to maximize operational efficiency.
4. Supplier Communication and Cost Settlement: Maintain effective communication with suppliers and service providers, manage the budgeting and settlement of vessel and barge-related costs, and ensure monthly payments are processed accurately and on schedule.
5. Vessel Lightening and Laytime Analysis: Monitor vessel lightening operations to facilitate timely berthing at port, and work closely with the Supply Chain Planning team to analyze laytime performance, identify root causes of delays, and implement improvement measures.
Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in the logistics industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
