More and more shipping companies worldwide are using our advanced robotic solutions for the underwater inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of ships. As an International Business Developer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and further expanding our international client portfolio. You’ll serve as a key point of contact for clients, develop new commercial opportunities, and play an active role in the continued growth of Fleet Robotics within the international maritime sector.
In the role of International Business Developer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Managing and further developing a portfolio of international key accounts, with a focus on strengthening client relationships, driving commercial growth, and building long-term strategic partnerships.
- Identifying new commercial opportunities within the international shipping market and developing prospects and partners into sustainable customer relationships.
- Independently managing commercial processes, from initial contact to contract signing, including drafting commercial proposals, pricing agreements, and contract negotiations.
- Representing Fleet Robotics at international trade shows, conferences, and client meetings, and further strengthening our position within the maritime sector.
- Identifying market trends, client needs, and commercial opportunities, and translating these into concrete growth opportunities for Fleet Robotics.
- Serving as a strategic link between customers and internal teams to ensure that commercial agreements are successfully translated into high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
For the role of International Business Developer, we require at least the following:
- At least a completed master’s degree from a university in a commercial, business administration, or technical field.
- At least three years of experience in a similar role (preferably in an international B2B environment).
- Experience maintaining strategic client relationships and independently managing commercial projects.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills in Dutch and English (and preferably a third language).
- You truly enjoy building long-term, international client relationships. You don’t wait for things to happen—you identify opportunities and take the initiative to act on them.
- Our clients are located all over the world, and you’re comfortable traveling frequently.
- A strong interest in technology, business, and international collaboration.
What we offer
For the role of International Business Developer, we offer the following:
- A gross monthly salary between €5,000.00 and €6,500.00 and a bonus plan that allows you to earn up to 20% of your gross monthly salary.
- 25 vacation days for full-time employment, with the option to purchase five additional days.
