Shape the future of HR technology and employee experience at FMO

Do you combine strategic product ownership with hands-on HR technology experience? Can you translate business priorities into a clear roadmap, guide a cross-functional team and keep critical HR services running reliably? Join FMO as HR Product Owner.

Your Role

As HR Product Owner, you are responsible for the strategic direction, continuous improvement and operational performance of FMO's HR application landscape, with SAP SuccessFactors at its core. You connect HR processes, technology, data and roles and responsibilities within the HR operating model. You translate FMO and HR priorities into a product vision, roadmap and prioritized backlog, and lead delivery from the business perspective through a cross-functional Agile team.

This is a broad, autonomous role. You balance strategic development and continuous improvement with operational continuity, incidents, releases, risk and vendor performance. In close collaboration with HR, ICT, control functions and external partners, you ensure that HR solutions deliver measurable value and a seamless employee experience.

The role combines strategic, tactical and operational responsibilities and requires the ability to switch effectively between long-term direction setting, delivery leadership and hands-on operational problem solving.

Your key responsibilities

  • Own and communicate the product vision and roadmap for the HR application landscape, aligned with FMO and HR objectives.
  • Prioritize the product backlog across new capabilities, enhancements, incidents, technical debt, risk and compliance requirements, making transparent trade-offs based on value, urgency and capacity.
  • Lead the cross-functional Agile team from the business perspective and work with HR stakeholders, ICT Business Analysts, technical specialists and external partners to deliver agreed outcomes.
  • Maintain end-to-end oversight of SAP SuccessFactors and connected applications, integrations, interfaces, data flows and vendor-managed services across the employee lifecycle.
  • Translate HR policies, user needs and regulatory requirements into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, while considering process and operating-model impacts.
  • Coordinate business testing, user acceptance, releases and adoption, and use feedback, delivery data and service performance to improve the product continuously.
  • Oversee operational performance and drive and contribute directly to incident resolution, recurring-problem analysis, system improvements/ configuration and sustainable continuity arrangements.
  • Engage effectively with HR professionals, technology specialists, vendors and management, connecting different perspectives to arrive at practical and informed decisions.
  • Manage key supplier relationships and monitor budget, service levels, quality, deliverables, risks and agreed actions in collaboration with the relevant FMO functions.
  • Lead and support HR initiatives, change programmes and projects to drive successful delivery and adoption.
  • Build team capability and continuity by coaching and developing HR Services colleagues and key users, reducing key-person dependency and operational risk.
  • Ensure appropriate governance for decisions, changes, documentation, privacy, information security, controls and audit follow-up.
  • Report clearly on roadmap progress, delivery, performance, risks, dependencies and decisions to HR management and relevant governance forums.
