Join our software development team in Leiden, the Netherlands, as a C# Developer. Working with C#, WPF, Blazor and PostgreSQL, you will help deliver innovative engineering and business applications, with an initial focus on data-driven solutions for the Dutch Ministry of Defence.

Tasks and activities
The scope of work will include:
- Designing, developing and maintaining complex data-driven applications that support critical business and engineering activities.
- Building and enhancing design-critical software solutions used during the early phases of engineering and system development.
- Performing verification and validation activities to ensure software quality, reliability and performance.
- Optimising high-throughput collaborative systems, enhancing scalability, efficiency and user experience.
- Designing and developing supporting tools, frameworks and libraries that enable efficient software delivery and long-term maintainability.
Skills and experience
The following skills and experience are mandatory:
- A degree in Software Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience developing applications in C# and .NET.
- Experience with WPF, Blazor, MVVM and PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and software quality practices.
- Experience using Git, GitHub and/or GitLab.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:
- Experience working on large-scale software projects.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices.
- Experience with data modelling (e.g. UML, Ecore).
- Familiarity with Linux, Docker, and web/mobile development using TypeScript or JavaScript.
