This position is located in the Service Delivery Management Pillar of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), Naqoura. The Chief Medical Officer reports directly to the Chief Service Delivery Management. The Chief Medical Officer provides leadership and supervision of functions of the Medical Services Section (MSS) to ensure provision of efficient and effective medical support to all Mission components in the area of operations. The incumbent provides Mission Personnel with theoretical and practical input on Medical First responder and Emergency Trauma Bag Training as well as Mass Casualty Incident Training. The incumbent also plans and implements HIV/AIDS awareness programme for the national and international staff.
